Miller’s Wood Specialties offers a pallet retrieval program for pallets no longer needed at a client’s facility. Through this program we often purchase pallets, especially if many are repairable. We will remove all pallet sizes, sort them at our facility into 4 different categories: repairable, dismantle, grind, and trash. Repairable pallet sizes typically include 42” x 42”, 45” x 45”, 48” x 40”, 48” x 42”, 48” x 45”, and 48” x 48”. The dismantled pallets are cut apart to produce recycled lumber. The grind pallets are those which cannot be dismantled due to their construction. And trash pallets are only those which cannot be ground, such as a pallet with metal bolts and plating.

Miller’s Wood Specialties is audited monthly and certified annually to provide heat-treated pallets for export in strict accordance with ISPM-15 standards. The heat treatment process utilizes a kiln to raise the temperature of the pallets in order to eliminate any pests from being shipped overseas. Heat-treated pallets, or HT pallets, are regulated by the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No.15 (ISPM 15), which requires the wood utilized for pallets to be stamped with a mark of compliance after the treatment is completed.

Miller’s Wood Specialties owns and operates its own private fleet of trucks and trailers, which means no third-party transportation fees. We have van and flatbed trailers of all sizes to provide timely and reliable deliveries and retrievals.
